Bikers are an interesting breed of people. Perhaps almost as interesting as hippies. Given both groups have their own unique cultures and identities, wouldn't it be interesting to get them together for some sort of group event?
Attending an event like that would be perfect cover for wearing the I Smell Hippies embroidered patch on a jacket or vest. It just begs the question: what do hippies smell like, exactly? Do they smell like the ocean? The beach perhaps?
We aren't rocket scientists here at The Cheap Place, but we'd be willing to bet that the 'I smell hippies' thing is somehow related to the 420 thing. If we're wrong, then we'd really love to know what kind of smell identifies the hippie subculture.
All of that aside, what we have here is a beautiful, embroidered patch just looking for a home on your jacket, vest, shirt, pants, hat, or any other article of clothing with some empty space. This is one of our smaller decorative patches, measuring 4 x 1.5 inches. It can be attached to some fabrics (not leather) with a heat press. However, we always urge our customers to do their best tailor or seamstress impression by sewing it on.
What's the best location? Wherever it is going to be seen most often. And by the way, you don't have to be a biker to appreciate embroidered patches. Lots of people, from vets to musicians to bohemians who can't stay in one place too long, know that embroidered patches are a way to decorate clothing with images and messages that speak to who they are.
Maybe you're into hippie culture. Maybe you're not. Either way, this patch speaks to your ability to smell hippies in the vicinity. Now, if you could just educate the rest of us, that would be nice.
